ABSTRACT
This chapter explores some organisations' initiatives for system change to stimulate practitioner’s thoughts on how they might activate different strategies for change. It discusses organisations that are non-profit and profit seeking, foundations and new emerging forms of organisation, for example, Labs. System change is in the coming together of people and organisations that the magic happens. Forum for the Future is a sustainability non-profit organisation, working globally with business, government and others to solve tricky challenges through system innovation. System change requires working at evolving the system and disrupting it with the new. Different partnerships and collaborations need to be formed: some might be large, some small, some might be with the mainstream, some with the new players, some open and collaborative and others may be highly competitive.
