ABSTRACT
Of all of the types of initiatives profiled in this book, sectoral agreements are the most difficult to track from outside the industry and/or region involved. Sectoral agreements often develop as a result of intense media pressure. A useful example is the case of the cocoa industry developing a joint project to address forced child labour in West Africa for the harvesting of cocoa (see Section 22.6.1).
