ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a case study for the expansion and consolidation of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in the Business School at Coventry University. It provides an overview of the challenge(s) faced in relation to mainstreaming responsible management, an explanation of the actions taken in relation to the challenge(s), information about the results and benefits of the actions taken, and some points regarding the role of PRME/sustainability principles to carry out the activity. The Business School at Coventry University has had a long-standing commitment to PRME, being one of the original signatories in 2007. However, the Business School sits within a much larger Faculty of Business, Environment and Society that includes the Law School and a range of social science, environmental science and humanities discipline areas. The benefits for the Faculty will be a bringing together of our cross-Faculty research centre with departments with a resulting increased awareness of each other’s work.
