ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a case study for the expansion and consolidation of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in the Center for Responsible Management Education (CRME). It provides an overview of the challenge(s) faced in relation to mainstreaming responsible management, an explanation of the actions taken in relation to the challenge(s), information about the results and benefits of the actions taken, and some points regarding the role of PRME/sustainability principles to carry out the activity. CRME was founded as a university-independent organisation with the mission of supporting responsible management education and empowering responsible managers. CRME first focused on establishing contacts with publishing houses that were interested in contracting books related to responsible management education. The powerful network of educators, authors, and practitioners that formed during the publishing process enabled CRME to support academic institutions in the design and implementation of their responsible management education activities.
