ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a case study for the expansion and consolidation of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. It provides an overview of the challenge(s) faced in relation to mainstreaming responsible management, an explanation of the actions taken in relation to the challenge(s), information about the results and benefits of the actions taken, and some points regarding the role of PRME/sustainability principles to carry out the activity. Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame is a premier Catholic business school that seeks to foster academic excellence, professional effectiveness, and personal accountability in a context that strives to be faithful to the ideals of community, human development and individual integrity. The use and value of the foresight process in addressing complex global challenges was enforced further through the mentoring programme offered to teams as part of their project experience.
