ABSTRACT
The continuous social, economic and environmental transformations that are a feature of European cities force us to reflect on the meaning of the quality of life and on the challenges that will be faced in the future. The aim of this chapter is to analyse the strategies that could be adopted to improve the quality of life of city and town dwellers in terms of ecological sustainability.
