ABSTRACT
Visteon’s new Superintegration™ is a design strategy that minimizes the number of electrical components and connections in automobiles. Combined with proprietary technology, it allows electronic circuits to be integrated on structural and functional surfaces-such as the underside of a dashboard. It also allows circuits to be incorporated within flexible cable bundles that include electronic components and replace old, single-function printed circuit boards and old-fashioned wire harnesses.
