ABSTRACT
The process for sustainable development in the early 2000s is clearly moving into an ‘implementation phase’. This phase is characterised by, among other phenomena, a growing number of participating state and non-state actors, a need for more information and knowledge, and an ambition to take a holistic approach to environment and development issues.
