ABSTRACT
This chapter helps students with opportunities to equip themselves with the knowledge and competences necessary to confront the challenges facing managers in a complex global environment. The Global Integrative Module (GIM) project is an evolution, or global version, of a course entitled "Integrative Module", which has successfully been put into practice several times as an active innovation element in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) undergraduate programme at ESADE. The GIM was designed in line with ESADE Business School's vision to inspire and prepare global-minded individuals so that they become highly competent and innovative professionals capable of successfully addressing the social challenges of the future. The GIM confronts students with the resolution of a challenge that is of current international social, political and economic relevance. The challenge is defined and proposed by the academic team and project leaders. The global aspect of the GIM makes online communication a key component of the learning experience.
