Yingli Solar is a product brand marketed by the Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited a leading solar energy company and one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic (PV) manufacturers. Yingli covers the entire PV value chain, from the production of polysilicon through ingot casting and wafering, to solar cell production and module assembly. Yingli believes its responsibility is to "turn the Sun's boundless power into affordable green energy for all". Yingli is committed to transforming cutting-edge technologies into high-performance products and to providing affordable renewable energy for people. Yingli published its first global sustainability report in May 2013, outlining the company's sustainability practices and targets. Yingli is also trying to increase employee awareness of the importance of energy efficiency and establish a systematic approach for driving improvements across all facilities. Yingli also realized that its social and environmental impact extends beyond its own operations.
