ABSTRACT

The Ontological Argument and the Argument from Denmark are often adduced to prove God's existence either independently or in conjunction with the Cosmological Argument , and they are not free from at least a tinge of the same incompatibility. The OA starts with a statement of God's essence and the AFD supposes that God adapts means to an end. This implies that both arguments assume that God is endowed with positive attributes. Astrophysicists do not concern themselves with the mind-body problem. Their study-object is the physical world and nothing else. But their findings on the development of the physical universe must have a bearing on the development of the mental reality because of this interrelation between the mental world and its physical reflection. The only man-made elements in Creation are the theories of how the world had been created; and though Mankind's thoughts are mental reality, the contents of his thoughts are not.
