The Files television special proved to be a spin-off from the Media Home Entertainment cassette released the previous November. A departure was a list of thirty "sample" questions for television, radio, and press interviewers. An informant urged Giorgio to have Elvis's 1970 Nixon letter compared to the 20 October 1977 death certificate. Orion Central was founded in 1981 at the peak of the masked singer's popularity. Members in typical fashion became unpaid public relations people courting print and electronic media. A number of disbelievers, Elfans, and journalists became the objects of verbal and written attacks after May, 1992.
