The verbal communications of the initial hour deal primarily with the circumstances surrounding the onset of patient’s symptoms of sexual impotence, tension headaches and hypertension. Therapist requests this explicitly for the benefit of the observers, although he himself has received this information in a previous interview. Patient cooperates compliantly.
