ABSTRACT
Remembering the First Time We Met . . . We met Thomas S. Szasz personally for the first time in November 2003 at the International Congress Medicina e humanitas (Medecine and humanitas), hosted by the Università del Secondo Rinascimento, organized at the Villa Borromeo (Senago, Milan) by Armando Verdiglione and Cristina Frua De Angelis. For the occasion, Szasz delivered a paper entitled “Why I wrote The Myth of Mental Illness.”
