ABSTRACT
In the previous chapters we have focused on the “past” of Catholic education. Our adult respondents had attended Catholic schools sometime between five and fifty years ago, and whatever influence Catholic schools finally had on them was of the sort which survives the erosion of time and aging. Two questions remain unanswered, however. First, have the schools changed in very recent years so that they produce different consequences? Second, how much of the influence of a religiously oriented school does in fact erode with the passage of time?
