ABSTRACT

The keynote of the author's social philosophy was individuality. Everyone should be a law unto himself, without violating the integrity of others. In capitalist society, however, the public never suffers penury or never suffers it to such an extent as to constitute a threat to the economic stability of the State. An anarchist is the last one to deny the existence of evil. The use of force everywhere for thousands of years has so corrupted the minds of men that wicked thoughts have become enshrined in a custom that has taken root and behaves perversely in physical enforcement. Destructive forces and creative forces exist in Nature and in humanity; anarchism is consequently the only philosophy that upholds this distinction and insists that humanity should cooperate with Nature's creative forces and renounce the destructive forces of human vanity.
