ABSTRACT
Humanity's forward thrust into the Macroindustrial Era reflects the collective will of the species to progress, to forge ahead to a new stage in human development. This chapter explore the newest developments on the very frontiers of the expansion of human potential, novel technologies that will enhance every person's ability to think, create, work, and innovate on these new levels. some of these new techniques and technologies for expanding human potential border on the esoteric, one of these, positive thinking, is quite familiar. Techniques should include thought stopping—each time a negative thought comes to mind, students immediately say to themselves "Stop". One educator suggests that schools use health education courses as a locus for inducing positive thinking in students. The Macroindustrial Era requires that individuals do more than believe that they can achieve the difficult. It needs people who can think in innovative and novel ways, articulating problems and envisioning solutions outside of the normal realms of human consideration.
