ABSTRACT
The following four chapters on ethical theory and planning educa tion provide an appropriate conclusion to this collection of essays exam ining the role of ethics in urban and regional planning. Ending the discussion with issues of pedagogy is important because only education can ensure that future professionals are aware of the ethical issues that pervade their practice and are provided with the concepts, tools, and perspectives needed to deal with these issues intelligently.
