ABSTRACT
Pearson was a great scholar who harmoniously combined thorough ness in research with a broad field of interest; in addition he was an excellent teacher and prolific writer. A complete bibliography of his work includes several hundred studies on a variety of subjects: mathe matics, statistics, biology, problems of heredity and evolution, philos ophy, theology, and social politics.
