ABSTRACT
After I got out of the Navy, I spent the summer in Cambridge taking a course in organic chemistry to complete my qualifications for entering medical school in the fall. Most of the other 200 students also were premeds, many of them from Harvard, taking the course during the summer so that they would not have to do so during the school year.
