ABSTRACT

Most of the research dealing with the attitudes of young Israelis towards the Holocaust has been carried out from the perspective of their Jewish or Jewish-Israeli identity. Although most of the studies on which the discussion below is based do not focus on the influence of the education system on these attitudes, they do reveal meaningful information about this influence and illustrate, among other things, the need for more comprehensive research of this aspect both of their attitudes towards the Holocaust and of the impact of the teaching of the Holocaust.
