ABSTRACT
Iranian established aid, over the years the Hizballah has endeavored to acquire secondary financing sources that are deployed throughout the world. Iran constitutes an important focal point in the global money counterfeiting industry. During the 1990s, Iranian attempts to spread high quality counterfeit American dollars in the world markets were identified, although this was attempted on a scale that could not cause significant damage to the US economy. The Hizballah plays an important role in the industry of counterfeiting money due to its powerful position at the counterfeiting locations in the Lebanon Valley, particularly in the village of Britel, and thanks to its ties with Iran and Syria. In the matter of the assassinations of Iranian expatriates, Rafsanjani denied any Iranian involvement, and claimed that Abd al Rahman Kasmelo, and other Kurd expatriates who were killed on July 13, 1989, in Vienna, were terminated by the Iraqis or by rival Kurd entities.
