ABSTRACT

All processes of collective activity are subject to periodicity. Change of mood, stimulation, depression, and other analogous phenomena characterize this periodicity in manifestations of the associative activity of separate personalities. In general, all manifestations of the associative activity of any collective are subject to the law of rhythm. Even the energy of separate nations is subject to the law of rhythm. In political movements, the law of rhythm is manifested in the fact that the greater the power possessed by political movement of a given orientation, the stronger the reaction towards it. Even political regimes are subject to periodic fluctuation, since government reaction is usually replaced by liberal reforms, followed again by reaction and then by governmental liberalism. As a matter of fact, periods of revival, which recur from time to time in the history of a nation, are classic demonstrations of the periodicity of social phenomena.
