ABSTRACT

The creation of concepts, the search for regularity of phenomena, numeration, and mathematical calculations all correspond to the principle of least expenditure of strength. This chapter analyzes correlative activity as a result of nervous or other energy, it is clear that the principle of economy must be acknowledged as immutable in relation to any exercise, and consequently any repetition, that is accompanied by the economy of energy. All socioeconomic life is based on the principle of the development of greatest productivity with the least possible expenditure of effort and resources. The establishment of common concepts and classifications, as a result of social living conditions, also satisfies the law of economy of strength. The development of national culture once again is subject to the law of economy of effort, since it is determined by the existence of available material on the one hand, and by the corresponding preparation of a work force on the other.
