ABSTRACT

This research focuses on building a problem-solving collaboration competency assessment tool in teaching chemistry. Categories of problem-solving collaboration competency assessment are detailed from the 2015 PISA problem-solving collaboration competency framework. From those assessment categories, this research proposed appropriate assessment tools that can be used in teaching, such as a student activity observation survey, academic record, teamwork minutes, teamwork assessment rubric and so on. On this basis, the research aimed at designing and implementing a problem-solving collaboration competency assessment for a particular integrated theme based on teaching chemistry. The analysis result shows the reliability of the categories makes sure Cronbach alpha index and concordance level with rating scale model. The result of the verified analysis t-test (control experiment test) demonstrates multi-subject teaching efficiency in boosting students’ competency.
