ABSTRACT
The Operations Evaluation Department (OED) evaluation of the poverty reduction strategy papers (PRSP) is a good report, and I hope that Bank management takes its recommendations seriously into account. I am not sure whether this is in fact happening, but perhaps the debates by the Board can help. There was some good news, especially considering that this instrument is only five years old (which is not too long in an organization such as this).
