ABSTRACT
This information was verified by the director of the Albanian intelligence service which stated that Bin Laden had dispatched Al Qaida fighters to help the Muslims in Kosovo.
Information regarding the existence of an “Albanian network” affiliated with Al Qaida was also found in a letter published in Bin Laden’s name and signed by Sheikh Abdullah Abu al Farouk. In the letter, Al Qaida issued a call to all Muslims to join the Jihad on behalf of Allah against the enemies of Islam and not to turn their guns against their Muslim brethren.
