ABSTRACT

1. Any number of nouns or noun agents can be formed at will by means of the prefixes à- (cf. Grammar, § 111) and là- pl. lò- (cf. Grammar, § 115 sqq.). As a principle only very common or more fixed-shaped words have been entered in the vocabulary under their own heading. Others can easily be traced from the meanings of the root-word.
