ABSTRACT
The concluding chapter provides an overview of the proposed definition of lived fantasy performance, its structuring, negotiation, characteristics, and performance types. The chapter further explores how fantasy performance ties into contemporary consumer culture, the perceived reality of everyday life, and individuals’ opportunities for engaging with desires and building agency. Overall, the chapter suggests that fantasy performance has the opportunity to help understand and restructure the performance of reality.
