Experiment 1: Validation of Methodology, and the Question of Alternative Operations

A model for adolescent logical judgment is developed in Part 2. The model is based on data from five experiments. The arguments figuring in these experiments are of the noncausal, “arbitrary” variety described in Section 6.5. Part 3 deals with arguments of more familiar content, as well as with arguments based on class inclusion.
