ABSTRACT
This chapter sets out questions and ideas about existing and potential partnerships, especially those that cross—or aspire to cross—lines of cultural, economic, and political difference. Returning to the notion of practitioner reflexivity, the chapter urges historical interpreters to build a sense of their own positions and privileges and to challenge the structures that have historically created distances and inequalities among potential collaborators.
