ABSTRACT

My mother and Polly met me at Stavanger. We spent two bright, never to be forgotten weeks there. It was here I heard Pastor Ole Olsen, of the Methodist Church, for the first time in my life. He was evidently one of the greatest preachers of Methodism in Norway. His mode of preaching took hold of me at once. I wept right through the first meeting, and received a mighty impulse to live wholly for God. There was fire and a mighty stir in connection with Methodism in Norway duringthose days.
