ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in this book. The book presents the direct method for the calculation of generalized inverse matrix. It shows that general LU (L is a lower triangular matrix and U is an upper triangular matrix) decomposition, and its variants: Cholesky, or LL decomposition and LDL decomposition. In mathematics and computer science, an algorithm is a step-by-step procedure to make calculations. In linear algebra, matrix decomposition represents the factorization of a matrix into a canonical form. Symbolic calculation is a concept that makes use of computer tools for transformation of mathematical symbolic expressions. Analysis of theoretical and numerical characterization matrix structure is of fundamental importance to design efficient algorithms for calculating the matrices and polynomials. One of the most significant and the most studied classes of matrices is a class of Toeplitz' matrices. Matrix algebra is another field in which the structural matrix plays an important role.
