ABSTRACT
Once a site is selected for development, plans are made. To many people, the contents of a plan can be quite hard to interpret. Questions we address include: What is supposed to be on the plan? What is the difference between true north, magnetic north, and assumed north? This chapter tells what is found in the legends and other content of plans, and describes the variety of plans that might be submitted to a municipality.
