ABSTRACT

Chapter 15 addresses some of the broader differences in formats for different countries or regions. It provides a broad review of Australia and New Zealand, UK, USA, Europe, Asia, Canada, South America and China. This chapter outlines that no one size fits all for resume (or CV) formats and it advises how to select an appropriate country or regional resume format. It moves the graduate from creating resume content (Foundation Resume) to editing and adapting it into a shorter Targeted Resume that is appropriate to the country or region. The Personal Plan part helps the graduate to edit their skills, experience and education into a short resume that relates to a specific job.
