ABSTRACT
Chapter 5 explores different ways to locate job opportunities. This chapter outlines different job search/employment agencies and their roles that can assist job hunters. Importantly, the areas of added help and support for job hunters are identified. The importance of understanding the “job system” of how advertising and filling positions operates is highlighted; in this way the graduate can increase the number of potential positions to apply for. The importance of social media and networking are also highlighted.
