ABSTRACT
Reliability is a very important part of equipment and product specifications. It shows the probability of certain equipment or product not failing for a particular period of time, so it uses a lot for probability calculations. In this chapter, the basics of reliability are explained for the purpose of FTA and ETA calculations. Different combinations of equipment are explained and their influence on the overall reliability is presented.
