ABSTRACT
A 52-year-old female presents to A&E complaining of a tingling sensation in and around the mouth and lips. Routine blood tests show that her calcium is 1.8 mmol/L (normal range 2.12–2.65 mmol/L). She later becomes bradycardic and is treated with atropine.
