ABSTRACT

At the end of the day, leadership is defined by the people who travel the journey together. It is about maintaining the alignment among the various organizational parts to achieve the shared mission and vision as a whole. This chapter offers suggestions for leaders to reflect on their personal motivators and explore new perspectives and contrary opinions. The final section of this chapter introduces historical perspectives and the Japanese practice of Ikigai to reinforce continual learning habits for leaders.
