ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the background of agility resilience capability in business settings (e.g., What is agility? Why agility is needed in dynamic environments?). We also discuss how agility is deployed temporarily or for long-term sustainability, including mitigating a crisis (i.e., reactive) or taking advantage of an opportunity (i.e., proactive). The concept of agility resilience capability is described in detail, and its intensity and related contributors are discussed in the light of a real-life case study.
