ABSTRACT

In this chapter, I present the discussion of findings embedded with the third level of analysis. I remind the reader that I began by presenting my first level of analysis, in Chapter 2, through robust examples of four biographic narratives of disabled women who have experienced marriage, and in Chapter 3 another four biographic narratives of women who have not experienced marriage. At the second level and in Chapter 4, I sought to make meaning out of all the narratives that make up the entire dataset of the study out of which this book arises, by presenting and analysing themes that arose from such narratives. In this fifth chapter, I present the discussion of findings that is intertwined with the third level of analysis which, due to its interpretative nature, seeks to deepen our understanding of the experiences of sexuality of disabled women in Zimbabwe by focusing on what participants meant when they said what they said, including that which was unspoken or indirect.
