Recognition of hazards in worker exposure to salt dust: Practical study on saltworks of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil

To HSE (2003), the present risks in a work environment may be the result of a combination of the following factors: substances, machinery, processes, work organization, tasks, procedures as well as the circumstances to which the activities are carried on, including the physical aspects of the work facilities. Also according to HSE (2003), the Recognition of Hazards is a crucial step, for an unknown risk is an uncontrolled risk.
