ABSTRACT
Thus, this paper seeks to problematize the role of participatory ergonomics in researches that aim to contribute to the improvement of people with disabilities’ quality of life.
This problematic is justified by the importance of discussing people with disabilities’ power of action in society, allowing their real social integration and the fulfillment of their demands, considering that the premises of universal design, integral accessibility and participatory ergonomics are important instruments to achieve this integration.
