ABSTRACT
The paper deals with the problems of OSH in the terms of humanization of work environment. For this purpose, the determinants related to creating safety and health environment at work were characterized. The results of the investigation concerning understanding of the OSH concept of referring to the theory and practice were presented and discussed. It allowed to indicate the areas for improvement in industrial setting in Poland.
