ABSTRACT: The existence of methodologies for priority and control the risk in different areas support the realization of safety and security process practice. However, endeavors to create tools and methodology to rank the ergonomic risk activities are mostly devoted on product design. Motivated by such scarcity, the goal of this study is attempted to develop a modified FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) as means to access the criticality of ergonomic risk in operations. An improved model to the ranking ergonomic risk by using Risk Priority Number (RPN) is proposed and applied in a case study, in the attempt to help decision makers to debate the problems occurred.
