ABSTRACT
Chapter 5 very much follows on from the preceding chapter, with an exploration of the experiences of people who use drugs of Swedish service provision and service providers. Key themes include conditionality of service provision, punitive and controlling interactions, disempowering and disciplining of people who use drugs who access service provision, infantilisation, social exclusion, and structural violence.
