In Something Rotten we learn about the Bottom brothers, who are struggling to produce their plays when competing against the greatest playwright of all time. We also learn about the innovations that helped lead to economic growth and an innovation that could help the Bottom brothers differentiate their plays in a competitive market. Something Rotten – set in 1590s England – provides several economic lessons.
