ss It is a great thing to be able to think about something completely different when worried by a particular stress. If you have difficulties in your relationship with your partner, but can turn to your family or a friend, this again reduces the stress. It does however take a deliberate consistent effort, time and energy to develop and maintain these separate compartments.
