Introduction to Watch Talkabout DVD (Clip 23 – Conversational Skills) or any
conversation skills media which effectively illustrates
• starting and finishing conversations
• listening
• the way we talk
• turn taking
• asking and answering questions
Encourage the group to discuss what they notice about the
way we talk and get them to try and elicit the above points.
