Aim To say longer words that begin with the speech sound s: safe, seed, seal, sing, save, sack, sun, seat, Sam, soap, soup, Sid, sword, sock, sail, suit, sum, sad, sell, sip.

How? By giving the child opportunities to hear, and see, you say longer words that begin with s and to practise saying the words.
